We have guests who are planning to travel from Belize City to Placencia by bus on the 7th. Does anyone know if the flooding has affected their ability to do this? I will need to book a flight for them if they cannot travel by bus,.

Thanks

I seem to recall seeing a picture of a bridge on the road to Placencia that had washed out... but that is from memory and I could be wrong.

Now back to your regularly scheduled drivel...

from what I understand, a boat with BDF will be there at the river to ferry people across as the bridge at Kendal is completely gone.

And it was a big bridge. A major and costly reconstruction project. Given the timing issues of buses at each side of the river and the fact that the journey could easily take most of the day, your guests might want to reconsider their decision not to fly.
