Bill--- I know you and I have ragged each other in the past. I know you have a place on the lagoonside ----did it make it through ok?? I really hope so. Don't want to lose a place in paradise. I haven't addressed this board since Keith, too many other people had more ermergency problems. I have two questions for you: 1)Is Sandshaker okay? Last I heard from her was an e-mail sent just before the hurricane got bad. 2) I have h eard reports on the board that electricity won't be restored for about a month. As you know, or maybe not, we are coming 10/25 to view properties...ha ha !! Hopefully greatly reduced in price,

Hi Orionhunter: I'm still very conserned about Tammy. Haven't heard from her yet. I haven't heard directly about my place. Its probabily deep in water. The backside of the island has taken a big hit, apparently waist deep in water as one report stated. The front of the island lucked out better this time. If I were you, I'd tenatively get ready to go and decide at the last minute based on how the clean-up is doing. I'd want electricity and water to be restored to normal and also food has to be replenished with the lack of electricity. Since ya have a non-refundable ticket, I'd consider bringing supplies like tools, nails, ect. and help with the clean-up. Perhaps it might not be such a good vacation, but you'll learn alot about San Pedro/Belize. Also, ya may make some good contacts regarding property, ect. Good Luck.

I too was thinking of you. I was imagining your humble abode in shambles and how sick you must be over it, and the great loss that San Pedro suffered. Will you be going down soon to check on your house? My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the San Pedro residents.

Debbie, I didn't read that post. I think Marty took it off before I had a chance to see it. It had to have been a sicko getting his kicks though. Some people don't belong out in public with human beings do they? I think we would have heard for sure if she was in Texas, injured or not, because I am in daily contact with her Mom, and her Mom has not heard a word from her.

It is the same "crazie" that's been doing it for years now. He simply thinks up a new name to use and posts as many sewer messages as he can. He has no honor or compassion. He is just a carbunkle on the ass of progress. This is an appropriate place for this piece of dogs..t.

Times of trouble has a way of REALLY indentifing people for who they are. The only consellation I take is the sick ones hafta live with themselves longer than I need too. The sick one really needs more prayer than Tammy. She's gonna be OK. I can't say that for the sick one.

Belize Mama....I have been searching and searching for news of Tammy but I can't find a thing, other then your requests. Dang! I'll keep looking. Stiff upper lip and all that good stuff.

I feel our Tammy is out helping other people that really needs her help, she is of that nature. I am worried, but feel in my heart she is fine, and terribly busy just making the best of their awful situation.

I am in the same boat as you. No laundry (well hardly any), no cooking, no cleaning...this is bad. But I have just been so worried about Tammy that I am glued to my computer hoping for some word. Her Mom(the real Mom, not the computer Mom...Chloe) lives in the same town as I do and I try to talk to her every day and give her some good news but it has been hard. I have had to pull myself away to do little chores...LOL.
As for the "person" who has tried to cause trouble, we will keep deleting him from here. Just ignore him and don't respond or react.
Hopefully we will hear from Tammy today (Friday) or I am going down there personally and find her.

Denverdan, thank you for talking to us, and we can tell you are one of us. It has been so hard for me to sit down to a good warm meal, or walking into a nice hot shower, without thinking of our friends in San Pedro, that are not enjoying the same. Bill is so concerned also, not hearing of Tammy.
We just know she is fine, and since she is medically trained no doubt she is helping full time at the medical center at the Sunbreeze. It would be great, if some person that has seen her, wouild mention it on this board, so we could finally take a deep breath. Love to all. Lois/Chloe

I too have been reading the boards for the past few weeks in anticipation of a suprise trip Nov 2 with my huband for his birthday. I have been checking in on you all constantly and although I know things will be difficult for a while, my prayers are constantly being surpassed as I watch in awe the courage and support that is being reported. Not seeing Tammy on the board has concerned me also is there no word for the north side? How can this be? I will be praying harder for those that we have yet to hear from and celebrating as each lost person is found. Keep you spirits high the Lord is with you all!

I do not believe Tammy would have been out at Basil Jones Construction Site. Her last posts she was in town. Some has had to see her, or her husband Lou Martinez or his family.

But maybe that's where she is has anyone checked? Just asking

I'm fairly new here, but I am absolutely in tears over you guys. May Tammy turn up safe and sound, plus everyone else. I fell in love with Ambergris last year, will be returning in Feb., but this tragedy and your responses have made me love the people.

denverdan - if you check in one last time; as to up north: i spoke to journeys end's US office and they lost a few trees and the beach bar, half a pier, lotsa scratches, but all people ok. i think i heard mata chica further up north got some damage too. victoria house lost a few rooves. i hope the weather holds well for your vacation, and that you get to have some fun. best for your trip. we will wait to hear your report on your return.

Tammy's Mom and myself here in Pensacola both want a hug from each of us for her. Give her as many as you want but make sure at least one is from me and one BIG one from her Mom. It has been so hard on her Mom because she doesn't have a computer and was relying on me to relate everything to her. Whew! Glad that part is over. Tell her to have an extra Belikin for me too. LOL
