Thanks so much for sharing. Best I've read in ages. I had to call my 13 year old daughter over to read it with me again. She cried. She lost her father a few years ago and its been kind of hard for her. She actually felt good after her good cry. Put things in perspective for her. Thank you.

I was sitting on the floor in a bookstore last week, helping to count cash money that had been donated for something good. My head was tilted down as I counted stacks of ones and fives. There was a huge wack on my head and a big noise and when I looked up I saw that a large mirror had fallen on my head and shattered in hundreds of pieces. I was surrounded by glass - both sparkling and dangerous. Luckily I sufered only a tiny cut on my finger, but it was a stunning reminder of how often life is over without notice.
