Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to post messages and pictures. It's been the only source of news. We are owners of two units at the Palms and have yet to hear anything about Derric, Kelly, Artemio and Lena et al. Does anyone know about damage there and how everybody is? Thanks in advance for any information

Perry and Mary,

Just got back from our first trip to AC and the Palms a couple of weeks ago. We love the Palms and its staff. We also met Jeannette who owns the poolside casita there. Jeanette got an e-mail from Kelly and everything is okay from what we can tell. Kelly was out procuring supplies. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything. Also, sounded like the property was fine. Gotta love a concrete building during a time like this.

Take care.

Robert

I was planning a trip to San Pedro and staying at the Palms Nov. 6-13. Do you think this is okay or should I postpone it? I had been working with Kelly...It was good to know that they are all okay

We just got back from San Pedro and we stayed at the Palms. Everyone there is okay. Derric, Kelly & Jordan. Lena and her family is okay as well. The damage to the Palms is minimal considering the power of the Keith. The building is standing and no windows were broken. Only some damage to the roof in terms of missing tiles. There were some flooding several units. We were staying at the Casitas until the hurricane hit then we were moved to unit 21. For the most part, the palms is okay.

Thanks for all the great info on The Palms. Can you give me the lowdown on any damage to the Casita? Also, is Artemio okay?

Glad you made it home safe & sound.

Jen436-
Did you hear anything from Kelly or The Palms? We are supposed to be staying there for a few days starting on Nov.8th?

Some reports have indicated that businesses won't be reopening until American Thanksgiving- Nov.13th, but others will be open sooner??

Glad to hear that The Palms fared relatively well in this mess. I have been going there at least once a year for the past 6 years and love both the place and the people who run it. We are planning to take the children at Christmas. it will be their first trip and I'm sure they will love it too.

Is the Palms the condo unit located next to TMM Yacht Charters? If so....how did the TMM Boats fair? If anyone walks by the Catamaran named Sail La Vie....give her a good kick and tell her to keep sailing! Thanks.
