Well, if you go back far enough most of us are germanic, and everyone is "mixed breed". They just don't all know it, and some people like to deny it. Hitler was one notable example - how many people know that Hitler had African ancestors? I am 12.5% French. No Italian so far as I know, though I have cousins in northern Italy.
