I'll be down later this week and I'm trying to get an idea of the weather during the day. Are the showers fairly brief right now? We've got several things planned with rainy day alternatives, but the guys are anxious to fish and we're doing a bird tour with Elbert! Does it look like we'll be able to drive a golf cart several miles north (just checking because we'll have my 81 year old mother)? Thanks for any updates!

On the south end, it has been mostly overcast in the mornings, but today it is fairly bright. We've had evening showers the past few days; yesterday there was a downpour at lunch. The road south of Victoria House is pretty slow going, so I would guess the road north is really bad.

You'll be wanting to take a water taxi, the road North will be horrible. Plenty of carts in town that look like they've been mud bogging.

Thanks SO much for the timely update - we leave tonight! I just contacted Island Ferry to see if we could get a "gold pass." I appreciate the weather update - we'll do our best to bring some sunshine with us!
