When my son passed away, I really wanted to play his favorite song, the Garth Brooks classic.... "Friends in low places". My grandmother was completely mortified, and we did the more appropriate "The Dance".

(I've told people to play "Pirate looks at 40" and "Ripples" for me.... just hope it's later rather than sooner)

How about Eric Claptons "Tears In Heaven" I've heard it at a couple of funerals, a real tear jerker.

Love that song too, JDog - I always think of the loss of his son whenever I hear it...brings tears to my eyes every time.
