All- I have been to Belize several times in Dec, March, June, etc. However, considering a trip in early September. What can I expect in terms of rain.....everyday, or is it just a crapshoot. I'd prefer early Sept instead of August since the hotel rates drop considerably after September 1.

September is still my favorite time to go. Much less crowded and the island has a lazier feeling. The weather is good, not as windy as in the spring but more humidity. You could get rain a couple of days, but that's true almost any time of year. Enjoy!

Sept can be very nice weather wise and it's the month of the Belizean national celebrations with parades, etc. But it is also prime hurricane season for Belize. Buy travel insurance for Sept or Oct trips!
