Somebody told me yesterday that JD had died. Anyone know anything about it?

I heard yesterday that he had been having some problems with infection in his legs. He became ill and was transfered to KHMH where he passed away. No word yet on funeral plans.

I am very sorry to hear that, I was only talking to him 2 weeks ago when I was there.

We got a text Friday night that he had passed on in the hospital. As far as I have heard he had a heart attack (could related to infection) but I am not exactly sure what happened. Sad he will be missed.

Can anyone who knows please post funeral/memorial arrangements here? I know quite a few people who would like to know.

I am so sorry to hear this...he was a sweet guy, and I know will be missed. He was one of the first friends we made there, and was a hoot at the bar.

Awww, JD was always around, he was friendly and had something to talk about, making me chuckle or smile. Loved hearing his stories. I will miss him. JD say Hi to Paisano for me.

I just heard that it may be next Saturday at Pier Lounge. If anyone hears more please post.

If I recall correctly, his two favorite songs to sing at Pier lounge karaoke were "Unchained Melody" and, my personal favorite to be serenaded with by JD, Billy's Idol's "White Wedding". I know he will be missed by all.
