There are so many things that a term or phrase can mean:
When I hear anti choice, I think No freedom of choice in schools, and of California legislating against Home Schooling.
I think of The Employee Free Choice Act, which is in fact the complete opposite, and Unions taking over the Right to Work states, which are almost all Republican ones
When I hear of a woman's right to choose, I can empathize with a first trimester termination for assorted reasons, but cannot fathom drilling a hole in the skull of a live born child for any.
I cannot ever see a reason to give up my bedside .45, but cannot fathom why anyone needs an AK47 for "hunting?"
There are so many polar opposites and reaching out and working together is just a bunch of soundbite jargon between 2 differing visions of what this country should be: The 2 sides really don't like each other much and the middle ground has no representation.
As a retiree with no medical, no benefits and paying almost no taxes I could say whats in it for me and vote one way or what kind of country do I wish to grow old in and vote another.
For me its always been about the direction of the court, have I ever mentioned that?
