I think the republican party has perfected the slime. They did it to McSame 8 years ago, and never stopped. He, of all people, should respect family, yet he hires the same slime artists that trashed him in 2000.
I've read Kos, and noplace in what the original posts does it slime any of the candidates, other than perhaps mention McSame or McBush. Palin brings her own credibility to the party, which would appear to be none. The family is kept out of it, other than what McSame's surrogates bring up.

Don't worry guys. Palin is going to be amazing! She is being tutored on foreign policy by some Bushies. Great. The more McCain tries to distance himself the closer he is to GWB.

Here's my pick for VP! She's wonderful! Please stop asking her hard questions everyone. What a crybaby McCain has turned out to be. I used to admire him. He has been a good citizen of the US of A. But talk about the ultimate "flip flopper"!

And talk about being insulting to the USA and the victims of that horrible day. George Bush and his September 11th reference in his speech was disgusting.

On September 12th, 2001 we had the entire world on our side and our nation was together as one. We were going to find Osama Bin Laden and bring him to justice. Bush stood on that pile of rubble at "Ground Zero" with the retired FDNY member and rallied the country.

Then he led us down the path to our own destruction. A war based on lies. He threw a great American Colin Powell under the bus. The "Pro Life" party has been responsible for thousands of innocent people being murdered. We started tourture and detaining people without just cause. We wasted BILLIONS of dollars over a lie. The worst part is our brave military men and women that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Remember the National Press Dinner one year? There was George joking and looking all over the stage. "nope, no weapons of mass destruction here"!. And everyone laughed and he thought he was really cute. He has divided our country into "us" vs. "them". He used scare tactics and a smear campaign to be re-elected.

Osama Bin Laden must be laughing his ass off how he put our nation into bankruptcy through his puppet GWB.

Since September 11th, 2001 President Bush has alienated the world, divided America and has become a disgrace. So much that his own party doesn't want to be seen with him. But he still had the 9/11 card to play during his speech.

All of these years and no Bin Laden capture is a travesty. My pal Ray Downey of the FDNY was killed that fatefull day. I'm sure some of you here had friends or relatives killed that day also. Until Bin Laden is brought to justice no Republican should use the "9/11" card.

Mr. McCain was with President Bush most of the way. This is the direction our nation needs? And if McCain dies in office or needs help with decisions we will sleep well at night knowing a "Hockey mom from Alaska is there to help??

Listening to the Republican convention. Gawd, talk about boring! About 1/20th of the energy level of the Democratic convention. It's like a city council meeting in a small town.
