One of these days, we'll be able to choose someone that is fically conservative but socially moderate.

Is it too much to ask that we have a government out of our wallets and our bedroom?

Here's another myth that needs to be addressed. Since when are Republicans fiscally conservative? The next president will inherit a $400 billion-plus deficit from the Republicans. Bush inherited a $230 billion surplus from the Democrats. Otter, what you're asking is not too much. It's what we deserve. It's a choice we can all make.

Thanks Mike -- there was a time I held my nose when voting for social conservatives because at least I got smaller government we could all afford with Republicans. Not so anymore it seems.
