I never thought it was a mistake considering how much he's done since leaving office. I've also noticed that Democrats, once leaving office, actually contribute to society while republicans contribute to their own pocketbooks.

I appreciate what he does for the poor. I don't appreciate his active and willful subversion of US-foreign relationships. The former deserves my admiration, but not my vote. The latter deserves jailtime.

But you're not screwed if your commander in chief thinks there are 57 states in the continental US, thinks that a tornado that killed 12 people whiped out a town killing 10,000, thinks that Arkansas is closer to Kentucky than his home state of Illinois, and most dangerously thinks that Iran is a tiny country with a small defense budget that can do no harm?

Of course not. If it was, then I'd be in jail.

But if I were to travel to a foreign country to actively subvert the work of the government of the US, that would be treason and I should be jailed, or put to death.

Disagreeing and making public statements about such is fine. Travel into the enemy's (or even friends') land to conspire to defeat the military and political efforts of the government is not.
