Let's not assume Palin has a MBA....her job was to sign or veto....no "experience" necessary. Obama reviewed and approved or dis-approved budgets etc on a daily basis...both as a state senator and US senator. (2) If we want to look at voting records of McCain we can do that next, including his "present" votes...there is a reason that is done......and the last time I checked he was running for president, not Palin.
On Palin, it is obvious she is where she is because of ability...not experience....and if that is true for Palin...it is also true for Obama. He beat out Hillary didn't he?
As far as experience in Public office, Obama is miles ahead of Palin...but again he is not running against her...he's running against McCain. In that respect McCain has seniority, or experience...however you want to call it.

She got herself nominated vor V.P. actually, it would be her anatomy that accomplished that little feat, papashine, even the republicans have been honest about that.

If John McCain is in Iraq while the Senate is in session is he marked as "present", or "absent".

In 2004 4 out of 10 votes (for Bush) came from female christian conservatives, i.e. Right to Life votes. Hillary's votes are up for grabs (female). If you were McCain, and behind in the polls what would you look for in a VP?

Obama organized a complete national campaign that pulled together representatives from all 50 states in order to win the nomination for President of the Democratic party. As did McSame. Palin didn't do shit(pardon my french). She was brought in to shore up the far right christian fundamentalists and bring in the religious vote, that is all. She was a freaking mayor of a town of 5,000 people. She is the governor of the 47th most populus state. That is all she's done, and all she ever will do. She thinks the earth is 5,000 years old.

The issue that backfires on the GOP concerning Palin is the experience issue, in that they assert Palin has more executive experience than Obama. Assuming that to be fact she has Seniority over Obama, as does McCain. I guess the GOP likes the union thinking on advancement.....just not the pay scale and benefits!

McCain was always pretty up front about who he wanted to name as his VP running mate - he just let his party convince him he couldn't win that way. So in a last minute scramble he picked Palin. The McCain Campaign is already pegging her as a bit of a loose cannon, and is not allowing her to be interviewed by the media, saying: “until she’s ready — and until she’s comfortable — which might not be for a long while — the media will have to wait.” Wasn't there some promise by McCain that his running mate would appear on Larry King the night after being named? shocker, huh? yeah - not so much.

Palin was the mayor of a town the size of Loomis, Ca. the state that she was governor of has the population of San Joaquin county, Ca. The population of Sacramento is 1,895,000! 3 time the size of the entire state of Alaska. The federal earmarks she lobbied for are 5 times the per capita amount that each Californian received....and her entire state has the population of a suburb of sacramento! Just say no to earmarks!
