Just a little reminder, Bush ain't running again.
I put some credence in an relatives viewpoint "they're overlooking the angry white men vote". In context, the angry white men are the rank and file of the American voters, the little (?) people out there who do not jump up and scream at everything that happens. They know no particular race, gender, religion, sexual preference. They work their jobs, have their problems, make do with what they can. They are the people that make this country great. They are not Hollywood, they are not folks that are entrenched at the public trough (like the existing professional political elite). They are not on welfare, they work their jobs, don't overextend their credit, make their house payments, drink their beer and watch tv, raise their kids and go fishing. You don't see them in the paper everyday, complaining on how the gov don't give them enough, or the current administration hasn't saved enough whales or polar bears. Falling back on guns and religion? Not by a long shot.
Maybe the sleeping giant has been awakened again. Just my opinion, of course.
