Does anyone know where we can get/view a copy of the lot plans on Caye Caulker? If anyone wants to know where on the island a lot is located, is there a map of the lots so one knows where the lot is located on the island?

There is a large map on the wall of the post office, but it is very old.

You may not find what you need at Village Council. They lost most plats in a leadership change.I have a few but not for North Island. Can I help you?

Hi Dane, what does that meant that they lost most plats (plots?) in the leadership change? Everyone still owns the lot they originally bought, no? I called the Council and they verified where the lots were I was inquiring about, how would that not be accurate any longer?

Plats are survey maps. I am glad they had one that showed the lot. They have nothing to do with ownership, just location. Ownership info is found at the Registry in Belmopan through a title search.
