Good morning Sandshaker you are up bright and early this morning. I'm coming down to AC for a couple of weeks the first of Nov. I have property there on the west side of island and want to see how it faired. So belize it or not I would like to camp there a day or two. What dose customs have to say about camping gear and personal tools i.e. saws, hammers tents, lanterns and stuff like that. Thanks in advance if you can shed any light.Oh what are the odds of being able to buy a boat ride out to property.

Not sure about customs on tools.

Well...I'm sure somebody can get you there. There are quite a few boats running now.

Hey Ranger,

I can help with the boat rides back and forth to your property. Email me direct at mtoc@btl.net and we can set things up for you. As far as Customs it could be anyones guess. My brother in law came down right after and hand carried 2 small generators and talked his way out of not paying any duty. You should be OK. Just talk their ear off and explain your situation and they usually let you go through. Let me know if I can help any further.
