Dear freinds and family, Im very sad to say that my sister Lacy passed away at 9:10 pm Tuesday night in Dr. Lerida`s Office in San Pedro Town. She was not feeling well and went to see the Doctor. In the office I`m told she had what appeared to be a massive stroke followed by heart failier. The Doctor revived her twice but there was no hope the third time.



I`m now looking for any assistance I can get to take care of her remains. I plan to go to San Pedro this morning to arrange to have her moved to Belize City where she will be creamated as was her wish.



I will also arrange for her memorial service since she certainly did not want a church service. I will look at this Saturday or Sunday depending on dates that family members plan to attend.
Thanks to those who have attended to her thus far.

Oh my gosh Tim, I'm sooo sorry to hear of this terrible news. Lacy was my dancing partner when we were on the island. When we were at Casey's boat yard grand opening, she got blisters on her feet so bad from dancing she had to wear slippers for three days. We had a great time together and will surely miss her. Lacy left her indelible mark upon me by bestowing my Island name. Many years ago, in an attempt to describe who I was to someone, she said "You know, that guy Dan that plays drums. Drummer Dan". The name stuck and I shall alway think of her everytime I am addressed that way. My condolences Tim.

This is so sad. She was a sweet and funny person and I will miss her ready smile and sunny personality.

Lacy's remains were moved to Belize City to the Carl Huschner Hospital morgue. Her remains should be creamated this Friday, per her wishes. A tenative Momorial is set for Sunday Noon at BC's.
A family service will be planned at a later date perhaps in Playa Del Carmen.
