And that is what makes the world go around... lot's of choices out there... have you looked at Legacy, the Phoenix and all the other great resorts? Each one has something very special going for them... they are all beautiful and have kept local workers working... We tell our customers to go to ALL the other resorts, so when they do buy at Sapphire they have seen the rest. Our captain has even taken a few to Capt. Morgans and Legacy...Our driver often takes our customers to the in-town condos for sale, like Ambergris Lakes (going to be beautiful) and the Phoenix, top shelf indeed. To the best of our knowledge, everyone has still bought at Sapphire.
Sapphire offers a great product at a great price. You can OWN a fully furnished one-bedroom, one bath unit (even comes with a washer/dryer)for only $99,900. The construction is stellar and the beach is stunning... but Pedro's is close in for those who want to be in town, and I, too, think the Pizza is the best... anyone can serve a Belikin, but good Pizza, Pedro's is GREAT and that is a FACT.

Dear David ( Sapphire),
It seems you like to berate Peter and other's and talk about their private business etc, including mine for some reason... I have nothing agaisnt you, other than you could not remember the names or places of the past 30 odd developments you built in the past, which I found extremely odd, so David, I do not want to buy into Sapphire Beach.. and as such I do not intend to waste my money in any way or fashion via your operation. I also hope that your 4000 odd acres you mentioned you bought on mainland Belize, where you intend to plant Jathropa plants goes well.. You are definetly a person I will not do business with, one more thing David, if you ever call my house again and attempt to get vulgar or mention how Peter's bar is something other than a bar, I will have other dealings with you.. Let us hope you learn to keep other people's business to yourself and show the world how great you are, which unfortunately you have not shown. I for one hope I never come across the likes of your person.

Finally he comes out of the tail grass...
Thanks for the good wishes Brian, and the threat. I will take it under advisement. Thanks for making it public so the police can see it too. As for any vulgarity, that simply did not happen. Regarding Pedor's, I was telling you what I had "heard", but when I did you didn't like what you heard. Don't shoot the messenger Brain... Why is it good for one side and not the other to talk about someone? Sound like McCain and Obama... they are both full of it.
You wanted information, and when given the means to use it, you failed to. Maybe the banker you told me who would "give you anything you wanted" is like the New York banks, they don't have it to give. Should things had been different, we may had offered you a 70% loan as we have done with others. What better place to have a mortgage then where you can watch it.
Remember, 30:1 happy customers... even those who came who did not buy left happy. My gut tells me when you asked me to go with you to Pedro's to buy me "a few beers", and I didn't (having 4 other couples to work with at that time), that hurt you. And if that is true, I am sorry. Simply put, we were overwhelmed with other clients to tend to. Otherwise, I would had gladly taken an hour or two out for a beer and some of that pizza.
Here is an idea... what do you think? Let's bury the hatchet and tend to our mutual businesses. However, we will continue to bring to task those who are not telling the truth. No different then you putting up a fence to protect your new trees... you don't want people walking over them and we are doing the same.
P.S. Enjoying a Belikin Stout now... over ice I might add. You are right, I am not a true beer drinker.

After looking at my friends post (he uses the same Sapphire handle) that were removed by Peter, it seems Peter may be speaking about another development. Peter mentions 3 years and nothing happening.
The land upon which Sapphire Beach is being built was found last Novemeber and, after due diligence, was purcahsed on February 1, 2008.
It was not unitl February 2007 when I first came to see Belize, on my way back from Costa Rica.
It would seem prudent that Peter and I meet so he can get the facts... again, no reply to our offer to postpone a trip to accomadate Peter's offer to meet and go the the site on Tuesday.
What conclusion would any reasonable person make when soemone makes statements, is offered the truth, and ignores the opportunity to get it. Certainly no one who does not have something to gain would engage in this mess. We have much to gain, as do our customers. What does Peter have to gain is what you should be asking yourself. If you are really interested in the TRUTH that is.

Now that I was told about the private message option on the site, and how to use it, I want to report that Peter sent me an invite to have a beer on him, at Pedro's... very nice.
My reply was that Victoria House would be better and asked if he had any intention of taking the tour on Tuesday... I explained I had to change my flight reservations TODAY to accomdate the tour... if that can stop this non-sense, a cancellation fee is a great investment.
For the record, I will not answer any private messages as if someone has something to say it should be make PUBLIC, for all to see. Isn't that what the board is all about?

Sometimes it is best to keep things in PM’s. There is plenty of fodder for all to chew upon and continually adding more fuel to the fire just perpetuates the nastiness.

Good advice... we would love to make peace, but that takes two to make it work...
When the teller of the tales won't talk, it is hard to make peace.
Speaking of Peace... how about the Jews flying in a young Iranian boy to try to cure the cancer the Iranian and Turkish doctors can't. WOW... is that a start in the right direction or what?
Be nice to be reading that kind of chat on this site.

sapphire sounds an awful lot like those people with two reasons for doing something - one that sounds good and the real one. “An ounce of hypocricy is worth a pound of ambition.”
