Thinking of visiting june 2009. I know it is the start of the rainy season - can u expect rain everyday? Also how busy is it? Again i realise it is low season but i presume June may still be quite busy compared to say september/october?

June is the tail end of the high season. The only thing for sure about June is the heat (92-95 @ high noon). The last few Junes have been unpredictable when it comes to rain - but it is worth the gamble. June is considered mid season, so you'll find more travelers than in Sept/Oct. All restaurants and tours operate with a full schedule and staff.

We will be there in June 2009 as well. I am starting to look for accommodations...I have a few ideas however suggestions will be welcomed. Ut's just me and my hub, we would prefer someplace with a pool and a kitchenette also close to the beach.

The Caye Caulker Condos are close to the split and have just added a pool. Haven't been there in June so can't answer that part of the query.

I have been there at least three times in June, I would say it is one of the best times, little slower paced, some rain and lots of heat. I love it.
