I am currently a Ontario Certified Teacher in Peterborough Canada.

Looking for teaching opportunities in area.

If anyone has any leads please post.

I have been in contact with the Ministry of Education and they have my resume on file.

I was hoping someone would know of a private school that is in need of teachers.

Cheers

There is also a private high school on Caye Caulker that you should try. I don't know if you are only focused on the cayes but there are also private schools on the mainland. What you will run in to is that these positions need to got to Belizeans first and most laws are focused on keeping professional positions in Belize hands for obvious reasons. You will need to live here and work towards getting working papers. During that time you can look around and get an idea of where you want to be

Thanks for the words of advise.

My wife and I are currently in the process of selling her restaurant in Canada. We are actively looking for a business opportunity on the island. I am also looking into the possibility of taking a leave of absence from my teaching post in Canada.

Cheers
