As we countdown the days till it is put up or shut up, I see that there is some activity on the island as grocery stores are reporting a run on ketchup, brown sugar and various ingredients as well as Belkins for some reason. Checking one of favorite blogs I see that the team of Minnesota Nasty is stirring away as I hear that they still have bags that have not been unpacked yet!

A big thank you to all of those who have helped get this thing off the ground both here in the States and those in Belize. Here is to hoping that we have good weather and a great turnout on Sunday and may the best team win. Also a big thank you to the lovely ladies at Changes in Latitudes for allowing us to borrow their grills, if you are bored Sunday morning and don’t have anything to do swing by and we can tell some lies and (possibly) drink a couple beers while we are smoking the meat for the contest.
For those who are going to be on the island on Sunday please come and sample the various sauces and let’s raise a little money for the island that we all love!
