It would definitely be a better place when activity not more harmful than drinking booze or smoking cigarettes was decriminalized. There would be so much less criminals and crime related to growing, smuggling, distributing and using pot. Though drug dealers, bankers, politicians, police, criminal lawyers and jail owners would certainly disagree.

And not necessarily more people would pick up a joint or get a taste of that special brownie. Didn't drinking alcohol go down after prohibition had ended?
