Well after a six week tour of the US I've finally had time to sit down and read up on this thread. I've decided that I can't make a big enough cake for the judges to jump out of unless there's an empty cistern sitting around and then, don't think it would do too well in the oven, if I could find one, so I think I'll try and find one of those little baking pans that makes little tiny bundt cakes and bring lots of coconut rum cakes for sale for my charity.

I do have a tiara, a coconut bra, and some grass skirts, hell I even have a magic wand left over from my lawyering days I can dig out.....we'll need some kind of little sauce holding containers, and LOTS of napkins, unless we want to jump in the sea between tastes!!! Are we bringing our own tables or will BC's have them there?

Must say that after six weeks of Playa del Carmen, Miami, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Dale Hollow Lake, Los Angeles, Ojai, Dallas, Itasca, and Austin, that first Belikin tasted mighty damn good and it's great to be home.....got some ingredients the other day along with some ribs from the Sausage Factory so I can get into Sauce Time and practice up.

Less than six weeks kiddies, this is gonna be fun!!!

i already offered to bring some napkins & utensils. i need to go to the dollar store today and will see if i can find something to use for the sauce cups. do you guys think something like dixie-cups work, or need wider mouths? if i find 'em, i can bring 'em.

I think those bathroom sized dixie cups should be big enough for dipping? There are some plastic ones here on the island (usually, although nothing is for sure) that may work too....

THose would be good...I'll check on the ones here for cost, etc........maybe I can find out where Eileen gets those tiny little spoons she uses for tasting at DandE's....haven't noticed if they are open or not....been too busy trying to get normal stuff done...six weeks is a long time to be gone!
