I'm new to the forum...finally had the chance to register, I have been on the island for 6 months and now searching for a 6-12 month lease on a 2 bed condo. Fully furnished, clean, safe, with a pool...anything out there for under 900.00us p/m.

Hmmmm...2 bedroom is going to be tough I think. Royal Palms or BYC might have one around $1000-1100. Check the San Pedro Sun.

Hi Smiley40. I handle only long term rentals on the island. Getting a 2 bdrm with a pool at that price will be nearly impossible. You can get a 2 bdrm for that price, but there will not be a pool. Check out my website for a bunch of listings. You can also see some listings in the San Pedro Sun and Ambergris Today.

One of the properties we manage has an available (just finished) 3rd floor, two bedroom, one bath unit, new construction located on Fire Coral Street, San Pablo area, about 1.5 miles south of town center. Not furnished, fridge/stove only and no pool but private balcony and good views of lagoon and sunsets! Owner asking $750 US/mth. This may give you an idea of local market rents.

On the beach, furnished with pool, may be very difficult to get for $900 US/mth??
