Here’s our pics from November ‘08. I’m not writing a trip report, as I just seem to take forever to do so. Look how long it’s taken me just to post the pics.

As usual, I would like to thank all those who made this trip special. that’s what I look forward to about returning over and over…each of our trips has really been unique to each other. Familiar sights, sounds and tastes, but with different friends, in different places, having different adventures.

I want to mention some nice boarders who we were pleased & honored to finally meet for the first time: ruthie & chunky, shuffles & renita, carbunkle, dita & ed, teenah, reaper, laurie mar, kerry, caye connect alex, pugwash, keli, jesse, drummer dan, az bob, the staff at EC…

And old friends we hugged: dc, tq, colly & maya, bill & becky mcghee, klc, the tacos, simon, sherry (lil red), chloe, capt. Jeff, elbert, pedro & walter, go vikes…heck, even my pal from castle carts gave me a welcome back hug!

Extra special thanks and gratitude goes out to our close friends the kc jayhawks for putting up with us for 5 days, opening their room and hearts to us. We just had a terrific time with you. We love you guys, you rock!

And lastly, to our good friend Chris/SIN & the lovely Sari, for allowing us to spend time with them at La Perla del Caribe - I cannot thank you enough, even though I continue to try to do so. The villa and grounds are unreal – it was like a dream. We had such a nice time with you guys too. We enjoyed our stay with you immensely. We will never forget it. Ever.

Thanks for sharing your photos!! How in the world did you get so lucky with the colors with the sunrises? I got up a few times to watch it but it was always overcast (I'll be posting my photos this weekend) - did you have a filter on your lens? Those colors were spectacular!! Looks like you had a slightly good time!!

Actually Janie - you really don't need to post a written report - your pictures say it all. Makes anyone who's been away from SP more than a week long to go back!!!

susie - yes, i confess - my camera has a 'sunset' setting that enhances the colors a little. still, the beauty is there - it only turns it up a notch. i have spent hours on the beaches before dawn - one has to be very patient and wait for the shots, and go out every single day waiting for that one incredible morning.
