The library for the San Pedro Roman Catholic Elementary School donated by the Isla Bonita 2008 Calendar Girls is almost complete! Mossiah Construction has been busy over the holidays putting the finishing touches on the media center. A dedication ceremony is scheduled for Friday, January 16 at 2:00p.m. All sponsors and contributors are invited to have a look at what their support has done to improve the lives of our children here on Isla Bonita.

Mr.C's Furniture is busy this week helping to install the shelves for the books. Russ and Eve (Miss May 08) Dirnback from Ambergris Parts, Ltd. have worked very hard getting books donated to help stock the library. This is an ongoing charity venture the Dirnbacks have started to ensure our children on Isla Bonita have the most current material they can make available for their educational needs.

This is the second building donated by the Isla Bonita Calendar Girls. The class of 2006 was able to help build two new classrooms with their calendar and fund raising events. The Girls would like to thank SP Hardware for their huge discount on a air conditioning unit, Mr. C's Furniture for their discount on the tables, chairs and with the shelve installation. And of course this would not be possible without Mossiah Construction. They have donated a lot of time and material to help out the school. We look forward to seeing you Friday, January 16th at 2:00p.m.

Ambergris Today

The Calender Girls of 2008 have completed the R.C. Library. at the R.C. school
The grand opening and ribbon cutting will be on Jan. 16 at 2 p.m.
Eve and Ross Dirnback of Ambergris Parts have worked over several months to put textbooks into the new library. and have worked with two teachers from Texas. Louise and Joe Putman have been instrumental in helping to get the books to Ambergris Parts. We hope to receive more in the near future and have received our first shipment. We would like to give a big thankyou to Hyde Shipping, Delroy Fairweather and Mash shipping.
