there is a chinese store on 7th avenue, near the texaco station, next to "a new world store", can't remember the name of it, but has the best prices on alcohol and cigarettes....the farmer's market for fruits and vegetables...frank's meat market for best prices and quality meats...hope this helps

Well, did you ever go on your shopping trip? I admit I'm lazy and haven't checked your blog yet!

I just found this now Julian we did do an overnight there on our way back from Mexico in April but did not shop a lot.

Recently Rick brought lam chops back from a butcher there and we cooked them at Chunky and Ruth's place.

Where is that located? Want to check that out next time we are there. PS - how did you like Corozal Bay Inn Julian? Only negative thing for us was the bathroom that is near the restaurant - really needed better cleaning.

Cheers.

the north side of the "town square" there is a little side street...any of the taxi drivers parked around the square, can point u in the right direction...don't know the street name...or if u head east at the north end of the farmers market, you will run right into it...block before the main drag...any of the sellers at the market, can direct u as well...good luck, he has the best meats in corozal...

Thanks Kerry - will look that up next time - we had intended to be there this Xmas season (our first ever away holiday at that time) - just didn't work out. Oh well.

Cheers.
