I grew up in Warren and moved to Milwaukee when I was 18. Most of my family is still in the Detroit area. And you're right--everybody we tell about our trip has no idea where Belize is!

Scuba diving and Husker football--two of my husband's favorite things! He was down at the KState game--too bad you guys couldn't have met up to trade scuba and Husker stories .

Sounds like you had a great time. My husband and I are getting ready for our first Belize trip and folks are right about NOBODY knowing where Belize is,.....have explained it and drawn maps for all. I can't wait and will certainly try out Jambel for hot eats.Thanx for the info.

Husker Fans! Man, they'll let *anyone* on this island! Just kidding, I'm making my first trip to AC on Thursday and appreciate the trip report! And, truth be known, Husker fans are great - so long as AC isn't crawling with OU fans I'll be perfectly happy. Thanks again for the trip report.

Have a great time down in Belize! My husband went to the Nebraska/KState game and said the KState fans were great and he had a terrific time!

Great trip report. My wife and I are heading down Jan 5. I would love to read a trip report from someone who has stayed at Banana beach.

Speaking of football.....I get to sneak away to Phoenix, AZ in a couple weeks. Staying in Scottsdale and going to go watch the Fiesta Bowl. Been a long time coming but the Beav's are finally in a better bowl than the ducks!!! A little mini vacation (5 days) until the real vacation in March when I get to go to AC.
