Coming in on the 20th of Feb. and we have to decide ... our first time in SP and looking for input on these 2 resorts. Any help would be appreciated.

Honeymoon time -- looking forward to meeting some of you...

They are both very nice resorts. The difference, as I see it, is that Captain Morgan's is about a mile and a half north of the bridge, which means you can't just take a stroll through town at 9:00 at night if you want. Aqua Marina is at the north edge of town.

Then again, if you are on your honeymoon, you may not come out of your room at all:)

Depends on what you're looking for. What do you most value in your vacation spot?

I've been in rooms in both and my vote would be Aqua Marina, hands down. Capt. Morgan's has more of the "island" look and they have a great pool, but Aqua Marina is much closer to everything and the AC in their rooms works better!

I can never remember which is better . . . safe? . . . or sorry?

Aquamarina would be my choice. Cool in-town location and nice pool side bar.

Aquamarina!!
I think all first timers should stay South of the bridge.

Thanks gang! Seems like that was a no-brainer!

We'd rather be close to the outdoor markets, vendors, etc. and still seems like there's access to good snorkeling.

Thanks again for your help!!!!

Counting the days! See you on the beach!!! or the bar ;-)
