Hard to imagine how my life would have been without The Beatles

Yeah, you might have been normal.

It's staggering though that something that sounds so modern was produced over 40 years ago, and that two of the people involved are dead.

WOW - that is weird! I picked the Beatles Sgt. Pepper to listen to yesterday while I worked out. Wish I had of had a corner of Pugs paper to nibble on. Then it would have been a real trip!

It was 50 years ago this coming Tuesday that possibly the greatest of them all died. What he achieved in his 22 years influenced all the greats who followed him. And he was a TEXAN!

He never gets credit for being such a great guitarist: in his very short recording career, all the songs were 2 or 4 track, many of them literally live cuts.

The guitar work was an inspiration for many in the years that followed.
