Does any one have any info for building north of the split. Power? Ferry across? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

No power.

No Ferry.

Water taxi would likely drop you off.

I'm building there now and you bring everything. Most use a combination of solar, wind and some generators and being very conservative with use. Water is primarily from rain and shallow wells. Haven't dug mine yet but been told it should be pretty clean. Nothing polluting from above. There has been talk that power will come soon. I've heard that for the last 5 years and assume I'll be providing my own. Never seen a water taxi stop there. All the piers on the front side are in real shallow water. I guess the driftwood pier would work but that's on the back side of the island.

Scott - What do you mean by north? Miles are measured from Centrl Park in the middle of town. I think the electric goes up to mile 13.

Ron, I've heard the same for years about electricity. I own property about 8 miles north of San Pedro. Even though electricity travels at 186,000 miles per second, it travels slightly slower to the northern part of the island.
