I love the "island dogs". When I came for the 1st time last year we referred to them as "white dog", "red dog" (there seemed to be a few of them), "big dog", "brown dog" etc. Plus there were Charlie's schnauzers at Estel's. All of them friendly and all leading a "dog's life". I took many, many pics of peaceful dogs sleeping in the warm sand.

This year I was happy to see "white dog" back. She was at Estel's the first morning I was there, sleeping in the sand on the patio. She later "adopted" a couple friends of mine and stayed with them the whole week that they were on the island. Followed them everywhere like she'd been their dog forever. Even slept on their porch at night. We named her "Snowball" and she didn't seem to mind. I hope she's still around when I get back down next time.

The "island dogs" add to the charm of San Pedro IMO. I'd sure like to see the pics when they're finished.

God Bless The Reef!
