We ran across this dog tonight downtown.

She was by Manelli's Ice Cream. She ran over to us and then got into our cart.

She seemed lost and is pretty skinny. We have been talking about going to Saga and getting a dog for a while now so this seems to be a sign to take her.

She has on what I think is a flea collar and is pretty much pure white.

I am going to try to post a picture in the picture section....If this is your dog or anyone you know's dog please let me know and I will bring her back.

Otherwise, with the upcoming poisoning, we will just keep her, clean her up and have her as our own.

She looks very much like Fred's dog, from Coral Beach Realty.

Just called Fred and she's not his.

Anyone recognize her? Like I said, we will take good care of her if nobody owns her. Just don't want to take anyones dog.

So nice of you to be doing this for her. One suggestion, take her to SAGA tomorrow and ask Ingrid if she knows her---she knows most of the dogs that have owners.She will be lucky to have you if that's what it comes to. Good luck!

I think that's the dog I've fallen in love with. Very sweet disposition. I usually saw her running around Estel's/Lilly's area, although i've seen her other places around town.

I would check with Saga. She used to have a tag maybe a year and a half ago, but hasn't had one since I emailed Saga with the number to check on her.

That looks like a dog nicknamed "Playa dog", because she hangs out there (she is so well behaved, that she is the only dog allowed). I love her and have tried to find her a home...

Canukboi: that is the same dog I have also fallen in love with. I am positive as I took several pics of her and just checked my pics to compare with yours.

I saw her this last November every day while staying at Sunbreeze Suites; in fact, she hung out with my brother and I on the beach all the time and took walks with us.

Last month while staying next door at Conch Shell, she also hung out with me everyday and slept outside my room.

She is such a sweet dog. I have never seen her with anyone who appears to be her owner I named her Rio (after the old Duran Duran song). She likes to "dance" on the sand.

I hope you can keep her - she deserves a great home!

I'd say keep her - I have a feeling it might be the same dog that used to way back hang out by the chinese owned bar/"casino" on the corner by the alley going to Cholo's (across from Pelican Properties) -- I did also think it was Fred's dog so much so I brought it "back" to him! Of course found out it was not Coco but could be her sister. Anyways, the dog does not even hang out there anymore, every time I see her she is always wandering and hungry/skinny/searching if you know what I mean - if she has owners that care (doubtful), they'll try to find her through Saga and other means, so I would go for it if I were you - give her a great home she deserves it!!!

Thanks for the postings, Snoopy's mom took a look at her and she is the dog that hangs out at Playa, so we are going to go to SAGA, get her cleaned up and if anyone owns her, they can have her back...but I'm already in love! She's very happy here!

OMG!!! How can a homeless dog have so many people who lover her? Mr Malibu and I also took pictures of her at Lilly's several mornings while eating breakfast. We too fell in love with her. Please take her, give her a bath and some love. If she were already loved (had mom/dad who gave a shyt about her) she would not be homeless/skinny/filthy. Will you please post a pic of her when she has had a bath and knows love? Thank you canuk's!!!
