I guess i will be arriving too early for Lobster... so my question is if the Sea Urchin around the island is edible - and if any restaraunt on the island serves UNI?

I have seen lots of Sea Urchin in the water, but not sure why it would not be edible? If so, surely the sushi places would serve it?

"Very few Sea Urchin are edible."

Tell that to the Sea Otter, they seem to think differently smile

Insist on authentic Free Range Urchin™, when only the best will do.
I hope that someday we can put aside our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

I tried sea urchin once in a restaurant. I didn't think it was edible whether they served it or not.

I tried sea urchin roe in Greece last year. Yuk! But I guess it is a delicacy...

When I have susi it's always an order of sea urchin and one of salmon roe. Then I might try another one of some sort.
