Our trip is finally here! We leave this Saturday for San Pedro. In planning our packing, we were wondering what we can bring with us? We will be staying in a condo and have a fridge, so we wanted to bring sodas, beer, liquor. Can someone tell me the limit that we can bring in - especially the limit on alcohol?

Thanks!

I used to work with a Lainie and since it's not a very common name - is your last name by any chance Berntsen?

You can easily buy cases of Belikan, pop and jugs of water at the Belikan destributor on the island. Prices are reasonable and they deliver.
Have a wonderful trip!

Don't waste your time bringing beer and softdrinks to AC. The Beliken Beer Distributor in San Pedro will deliver beer, coke, bottled water and other soft drinks by the case to your hotel or condo. For a reasonable price. It doesn't pay to bring it with you.

Good luck!

Lainie,
In most cases the management of your condo can arrange to have the Belikin and soft drinks delivered to your unit and in the fridge prior to your arrival. Walk straight to the fridge, pop a Belikin and walk to the veranda. Sit down and take a deep breath. (At this point your watch should already have been stowed in your carry-on. You WON'T need it)

***Same for the bottled water...comes in squares of four gallon bottles, about $1.25 US each. The water is safe to drink from the tap in SP, but it is also good for washing your white shirts without the addition of bleach. fresh squeezed OJ is available at the north end of Middle Street, by the grocery store. To your left, in the blue building behind the burrito stand. $4.50 US

Lainie,
Yer welcome. Have a great time, and under no circumstances drink anything that has a funny color.

CC,

By 'funny' color, do you mean blue? I heard that's a drink named after you. I really don't think I can resist stopping by BC's and trying at least one...maybe two...
