Can anyone tell me how I can get to a resort north of the cut with my luggage besides water taxi? I thought I read golf cart taxis were available downtown to take visitors north but the resort said they don't go beyond the cut. Would I have to rent a cart for an hour to get my luggage to the resort and then walk back after returning the cart or is there a service/taxi that would transport my luggage? There are 5 of us so water taxi adds up.

If you are staying at a Resort, I believe that they will pick you up at the airport and transport you up to the resort. Drop them an email and ask them.

You cannot take a taxi north of the bridge. You can rent a golf cart and go north of the cut but whether that would work depends on the condition of the road that leads to your resort. Some companies will deliver/pick up the cart even north of the bridge. I would suggest you contact the cart companies to find out what they can offer. Try this link:

Then honestly, you probably shouldn't be staying north of the cut.

I sometimes rent a golf cart at Journeys End and they are supplied by Ultimate Golf Carts I believe. Their office is located right next to the airport. Tell me which resort and I'll tell you how practical it is.

Deadserious is on the money ,if water taxi is to much money you may want to re think your plans ,however north is very nice and very pretty ,but some places can be way up and if you do not want to stay there lots then you might have a problem .Again where are you going ??? lots of better resorts have free transport to town .A big plus ..

Where are you staying. I never heard of a resort that didn't pick you and take you there. Once there check with your resort about boats going into town. ALso PM me and I can give you the name of a taxi operator who only charge $5 each way if you have 4 or more and you can then pick your own times.

Reef Village is less than 1 mile north of the cut.

Easy walk to town.
