Can anyone update me on the road construction progress in the Placencia area?

yes i can.
from the airstrip north to serenity, it is 'improved gravel'.
then a long stretch of what may be finished pavement to almost siene bight. when i say 'may be finished' it's because i heard they are to put another coat of something on it, but it is a super hyway right now!
then from S.B. north to maya beach, they have cleared along the roadside and are currently working in downtown S.B.
i am making a trip in a few minutes and will update if there is anything worthy.

Right, area in front of The Placencia is not graded and lots of wear and tear on that portion of the road due to all the constuction there.

nothing north of maya beach has been touched.
