Does Mata Rocks require the use of a water taxi to get to town? Are they available? How much? Have any of you stayed there?

20 minutes walk along the beach maybe from town, bike- 5-10 minutes probably.

water taxi's certainly available...

not that much to get to MataRocks, might email them at [email protected] to get the exact price...

we have been there several times, its quite nice. Beautiful grounds also...

You can get to town and back to Mata Rocks by taxi $8-10 BZ. We used Fidel Flores on a number of trips. He knows the area, is very friendly and will comme back and pick you up at the appointed time if you want. His cell # is 016-0854.

Debbie; We are leaving for Mata Rocks on the 25th for two weeks. This is our first trip, so if you can wait until we get back on Feb 12th I'll let you know what we found for various prices.

Also, helmsman - Thanks for the info on Fidel Flores and his cell #, both my brother in law and I have heart conditions, we hope to be able to do the walking but if not we will now have someone to call.

Mata Rocks sounds adn from what I've heard is great - hey anthing beats the winters here in Maine!

Byron: We were going to stay at Mata Rocks Thanksgiving week and you asked me to post a report when I returned. We cancelled and rescheduled to May because of Keith. I hope to hear a great report from you about Mata Rocks upon your return. Hope you have a great trip!
