More Tremors Felt Over The WeekendA week and a half after a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck offshore Honduras and rattled nerves in Belize, another quake, this one significantly less intense, shook the same offshore area late on Sunday night.
According to reports from the United States Geological Survey, last night's quake which measured 5.7 on the Richter scale was at a depth of about 6.2 miles under the Caribbean Sea.
The epicenter was located 20 miles north west of La Cieba Honduras, or 8 miles east north east of San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
There have been no reports of damage as a result of last night's quake.
The June fourth earthquake damaged over two dozen homes and other infrastructure, primarily in the south of the country, in Placencia, Monkey River and Independence villages.
