Has anyone ever stayed there? Are there any restaurants or "must see" things in that general area?

Villa Incommunicado is about 3 miles south of town - you would need to head towards town by about a mile to hit the first restaurant. The home is in a lovely area, great beach, pier, plenty of places to lounge and live the dream. If you want some night life head to town and enjoy - then you get to go home to the peace and tranquility of the south.

Have a fantastic visit.

it is 3.5+ miles from town, in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Mr Joe's Grocery and Grill is the closest. The serve some of the best sandwiches and now serve dinner until 8 pm

Most everybody in the south is nice and friendly - and the food at Joe's is great. I am going to get barbeque for lunch today from there.

(By the way, most everybody that has answered your post lives in the south!!) We really are a nice bunch.

What is considered the northern boundary of the "south" or is it everywhere south of SP? I'm hoping to buy in Royal Palm Villas and want to make sure I'm in with the "nice bunch". wink

Well certainly Royal Palms is south of town and has tons of really nice people but it isn't the far south where Villa Incommunicada is located.

The posters mentioned above are south of the cobblestoned road.... the deep south - crocodiles, racoons, lovely mangroves and peace and tranquility south.

Hey, welcome to the 'hood.

And while you are talking of buying a condo - we can offer you some decent deals on units in the Royal Palms. Check the real estate page for mlsambergriscaye.com
