They are very dependent on the Giant Apple Snails the northern river produces.

Can't see the bird only peak on right side of pic.

I wonder what causes that, some people have that problem when i post this kinda link and others see it all. i'm not sure what it could be. Is your computer monitor an older model? the image is 1100 pixels wide.

2 years old flat screen, this also happend the last time with a pic of the Limpkin.

i need to fix this , whats the point if you can't see it.

The last time this came up you changed something and reposted the pic and it came out fine.

For the record, I can see it all. My screen display is the modern laptop norm, 1280*800, and the browser I'm using is Firefox.

1440x900 32bit 17in flat IE6 and all is well.

1024x768. Beak and head only.

Phil what browser do you use?

At 1280x768 (my usual setting) it shows fine, at 1024x768 it is cut off. I use IE8 and IE7.

Simon I'm not completely savy about these things and I know you are. Are you saying its a screen resolution setting that some people have set low so it doesn't show the entire image?

Truthfully I'm not sure about why it's happening. Usually when you have an image larger than will fit on the screen at a lower size setting you have the option of scrolling. In this case the scroll function isn't there.

I'm also puzzled. I'd like to see a screen that isn't displaying your pictures properly. If it shows other pictures properly and only yours doesn't display properly then I'm lost - I would expect others not to work properly either.

I see the picture fine - with a large blank column to the right of the picture.

I'm going to adjust something on the site.

I'll use this style and I changed the user control, only down side is it opens up the entire journal.

okay, whatever you did just changed my view from perfect to partial.

OK. I have the complete jacana, occupying the third quarter of the picture measuring from the left, and central top to bottom.

"Sunday morning" - complete lizard just inside the picture by the right margin.

"Lamanai limpkin Belize" is complete, in the third quarter from the left.

"Today's turtle" is completely visible, covering most of the picture and displaced to near the RH edge.

Are these what I should be seeing?

The pictures are a bit closer in than the originals were - correct?

okay - looks absolutely stunning now - full picture - great resolution.

Excellent photos - such clarity and beautiful subjects.

I must have a setting differently then. The web site only uses about 2/3 of my screen and each picture has around half missing with a greater height than width. A Limpkin beak half a Wish Willy etc.
