I don't believe that I have yet conversed on this thread, but since you are not happy with non-vehicle owners talking here, I thought I should chime in. I own no vehicles in San Pedro and I hope that if I give my 2 cents, perhaps that will also upset you.

Traffic officers suck. Abandoned vehicles suck. Neighbors suck.

Here is one reason anonymous complaints are not proper at least from my point of view. The object of the complaint doesn't know who did it and speculates who it might be and becomes suspicious of many people. It creates turmoil and havoc in people's lives that is needless and mean. Everyone should have a right to face their accuser, yes or no? Peter, you always seem to express yourself well and are reasonable and sincere. Why not tell your neighbor about the hazard he has created and ask him if you can help him abate it by removing the truck. It would be in his best interest. Good luck with the truck.

You sound like a bit of an idealist, Danny. You know it doesn't always work that way. Nor do you know these neighbours. There are times you don't want to stick your head above the parapet.
