I recall reading a posting here a week or so ago about buying Belikin by the case at a distributor. Can the person who posted that please let me know where the distributor is on the island...it sounds like we will be stocking up on the beer as soon as we land on the island on Feb. 18, 2001!!!

Most hotels and resorts will order it for you and put it in your room for your arrival if you happen to have a room with a fridge. Call your hotel and have it arranged. Then just add it to your bill or pay for it upon arrival. When you arrive, dump your bags in the floor, go to the fridge and INDULGE in that ice cold brew!! The distributorship is just across the street from island supermarket. Not far from the air strip. Debbie

Debbie said it all. I would like to add there is about a $6.+ (us) deposite on the bottles and case, you get that back if you return them. We didn't have the option of a refridgerator, we used an ice chest--foam ones can be bought at the hardware store. Remember, just get the regular Bilikins. Premium,is more expensive and in my opinion is not as good.

Debbie said it all. I would like to add that there is about a $6-7. (us) deposite charge on the bottles and case. You get that back when you return the bottles. We didn't have a refridg. in our room so used an ice chest. Foam chest can be purchased at the hardware store. The regular Bilikins are much cheaper and in my opinion taste better than the premium. You are asking the right questions.

From the distibution cntr.. you can get a Belekin for about 1.25 blz.. that beats 3.50 or 4 blz a beer. and if you take back the bottles its cheaper.... We've been doing this for a couple of years.. Learning the island way!!!

I have just contacted my hotel, the Caribe Island Resort, and they are having two cases of Belikin delivered on the day we arrive!!! Can't wait to crack a cold one and just take in the beauty of the island..there's too much snow here in Jersey for my liking!!! Thanks for everyone's input!!

I found the regular Belikin better. Main difference I could see is that the premium had a few more ounces in the bottle, and a bit of foam, along with a slightly different taste.
Been there, done that, the washing machine ate the T-shirt
