Whatever will we do when the treads wear out and straps break? Seriously the best footwear for the island!

I love my croc high heels. I LIVE in them! But I do have to say that crocs wear out very quickly on the island. I guess it will mean I go back to regular flip flops! frown

Plenty of knock-offs available at discount stores. Not as good, but better than going without.(from someone who wears them w/wool socks in the winter)

Ugly perhaps, but ideally suited to the beach life down here. Jan would still have been selling lots of them had she been able to get supplies, so really this is an example of crass incompetence on the part of the manufacturer. Massive over-trading, followed by collapse of their logistics infrastructure. Not the first time I've seen it, but perhaps one of the most blatant.

Are equivalents available in Belize?

Friends turned us on to the Rainbow sandals from California. Guaranteed for life if they wear out. Send them back and they either repair them or replace them. They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn.
