Hi, Someone stole an old anchor from our front yard sometime yesterday. It is an old anchor and about 3 1/2-4 feet tall. If you know of someone trying to sell one, please call 226-2869 or The SANW 610-4911. Thanks, Judy

Yes, It was an antique. R.B. has kind of a sentimental attachment to it , as he got it from Richie Woods almost 20 yrs. ago. Grrr!!

Was it chained down?...or fixed to a heavy base? In this country sentimental value means nothing... a los ladrones! (to the robbers!) Hope ya find the scum-bags!

Yes, It was secured to a post and surrounded by quite a bit of foliage, so it wasn't all that visible from the beach. You really can't drive into our front yard and it would take 2 or 3 people to move it. Security told us last night that one of the guards was patrolling down by Victoria House Wed. night about 4:30 a.m. and saw a small skiff at our pier with 3 people. By the time he got down here, they were gone. Might even be in Caye Caulker by now. It would probably only be of interest to a gringo as a yard ornament, so we'll see if anyone is approached. Really is frustrating sometimes!!
