Just booked our flights for June 2010! We will be four couples, possibly (probably) more. Can't decide on the Palms or Paradise Villas ... was wondering if one offered something more than the other or was in a better location? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Ernie has got it confused with the inner surface of his hands; hence the excitement.

Palms is a very compact property, I have not seen the rooms, but I have heard they are nice.

Paradise villas is a larger, more open property, the rooms are generally nice.

They both have great locations, either one would be great

Palms property may be small, but their rooms are more roomy than those at Paradise Villas.

Outstanding staff at Palms as well. They can handle every detail from land based tours to getting you a case of Beliken or soft drinks.

Despite the regrettable lowering of the wall between the grounds and the beach, Paradise Villas still has a much more remote and isolated feel to it than The Palms.

I've never stayed at the Palms but I do have a history with Paradise Villas and I'm a fan. The rooms may not be ultra-modern but the 2BR/1BA has everything we need in it. Angel is always there to get you a case of Belikin or whatever you need. There are 2 grocery stores within a block and downtown is a pleasant walk down the beach. They don't have much of a beach but the PV dock is a great place to swim.

My $.04 Bz.
