Exclusive Ways (with offices also in Miami) is supposedly running a SkyService charter flight direct from Toronto to BZE on Wednesdays starting December 16th.

I can't find any information about them on the web except for what is posted on their very basic website and SkyService can't verify anything other than they have this flight on their schedule.

Does anyone know anything about this company? Are they reliable? I have had charter flights canceled within a week of the scheduled departure date with major tour companies so I think I'm justifiably leery about booking with an unknown entity.

This would be great news if it pans out.

SkyService is a charter airline operating out of Toronto. They're used by alot of the tour operators servicing the caribean. I've flown with them a number of times to Cuba, and have experienced no problems other than weather delays.
I'd have to say I've had fewer problems with them than Air Canada
All in all I guess they are as good as any other charter carrier.

Paperboy, I think you've misunderstood my question.

I have flown SkyService at least a dozen times and I agree with you, they are a decent charter airline. My concern is with Exclusive Ways, the tour operator which has theoretically chartered SkyService. Do you know anything about them?

Have you tried calling the US number on their website to see who is operating this in Belize. The website is obviously still being setup and Fire Coral Street is a residential area so I suspect this is someone starting up something from home at this point.

My feeling exactly SS. ...and HOT Card, although I could call them directly I would prefer to get verification from a third party. After all, what would they say except 'Yes, we are totally legitimate and completely trustworthy'?

Sorry, I did misunderstand. Unfortunately I can't help with Exclusive Ways. I don't know anything about them.

Hope it works, A direct flight from Toronto must be great for you.

Especially at 2 for one. If it is a company that one can rely on, then Hon + one, can take two trips!!

Don't know if there is any price benefit in it for me to go all the way to TO and then down. Certainly, there's no time benefit.

I emailed Exclusive Ways and was told that Yessenia Salazar is his business partner. (her father is Orlando who drives a taxi) Does anyone have the scoop on her that can PM me?

Despite a very pretty picture of a plane with Latin American Airlines painted on it, they have no planes. Neither have they flown single charter to Belize or elsewhere although they claim to have started flights in April 2009.

SkyService customer service agents still have no contact information to book these flights.

This seemed off to me from the get go and now is looking quite odd. Although I wish any new business well, especially one offering direct flights from Toronto, I'm not willing to book with them on a wing (I know, I know) and a prayer, hoping they work it all out before January.

Hon - setting the inaugural 2-for-1 teaser aside, do you really find the fares that much of a deal? I played around on the site and didn't see any HOLY MOLY - I gotta book thos NOW pricing.

Like you, not wishing ill results upon any new venture, methinks this one put the site up "on a wing and a prayer", over-estimating the market.

This is a no-brainer! Checked out the link. Read through the lines. All it is full of is ...plans, proposals,outlines, objectives,iniatives, stategies etc. It's a scam!!...simple as that. They have not got any planes....they have not secured any seed money, and they sure as hell won't be flying from Toronto to Belize. 2 words people: STAY AWAY!!

No klcman, I wasn't blown away by the pricing but the 2 for 1 deal when booking in October was interesting when coupled with the direct flight option.

huh? did you see me do anything except ask somebody who is very obviously touting his own business on this forum to cease. I in no way interfered in any discussion about flights pros or cons.

The owner of the company in question has been a friend of mine for over 30 years.

I get accused of a heck of a lot of things I didn't do and sometimes it gets so tiresome.

We all sit here trying to help and keep the crap and fighting to a minimum - and then we get warned not to do things we weren't even thinking about doing. Sheesh.

Just to be clear, there is a Specials section and a classified section on the message board. Is it ok for businesses like Exclusive Ways to post their special there?

The classifieds section is for individuals to peddle their wares - you know, a crib, a guitar, maybe a private home rental. All businesses should buy ad space on the site.

Specials are published by emailing the webmaster. Specials are typically defined by being items that are being offered for a price that is less than the price they are normally offered for. Maybe a hotel room that is usually $300 per night that is on offer for $150 per night for the month of november.

Amanda, perhaps you misunderstood my comment. I'm not sure whom you feel is advertising. I can only assume that it's world wanderer. Perhaps you know his/her true identity. I don't. And if world wanderer is promoting these flights, I question why he would post the following in the Travel section.



This board is full of information threads about deals on flights to BZE that never get treated as free advertising. Hon started this thread and she was not advertising anything. There were subsequent posts that questioned the website offering these flights from Toronto. You claim to have known the business owner for over 30 years so perhaps you have something useful to add to the discussion. My only concern was that world wanderer might submit a post to support these flights and you would consider it to be advertising and remove it. That's all. Forgive me if I stepped on your toes.

The Exclusive Ways website is now reporting that direct flights between Toronto and Belize are cancelled.

Buyer ,beware ,Buyer beware .I got a bad feelings about unknown tour operators ...This is the time OF THE YEAR the scamers come out and offer deals on charter flights ..if the deal is too good then it needs lots of looking into .If there office is in belize even more so ..And never but never pay any travel without using your credit card ...NEVER !!!!!!! evry body loves a deal BUT SOME TIMES THE JUICE IS NOT WORTH THE SQUEEZE ????I did hear a rumor that a guy who was here He left 5 years ago was back trying to set up charters from canada but if it is the same guy i will not say his name unless you give it to me ,if it is him then i think the police where looking for him from a condo manangement problem from years back .GOOD LUCK

Its the same all over , I'm reading about hotels on the island I've never heard of and can't find, but they sure look good on the net and are cheap.

I just found out from a pm it is the same scam /con man back at doing what he does best,trying screw people out of money .I thought he was wanted here??????????? for the condo hoa stuff ?? wonder if he is still on the island??? or is he on the run again???you could write a book about this place..It would be A best seller lol. lol .lol .
