San Pedro Belize Express' newest water vessel arrived in San Pedro on Wednesday, October 21, readying for the company's scheduled trips to Chetumal, Mexico. The water taxi company will introduce a new run to our neighboring city of Chetumal, making our commutes easier, cheaper and more convenient. The new schedule to Chetumal will commence on Saturday, October 31, 2009. Customs officials will be on hand on both docking stations in San Pedro and Mexico to process regular passport procedures and customs checks. The vessel has a carrying capacity of 100 passengers. I believe they are talking about the ad in the physical paper.

Does anybody know how long the trip would take and how much will it cost?

I believe they said on the Morning Show that it would be $55 USD round trip, and that they were doing a promotional in early Nov for $40 USD round trip. I think they said the trip is 1 1/2 hours each way.

I called to ask the length of the trip and was told that it takes two and a half hours (one way).
It tends to be a rough patch of water so those with bad backs should definitely try to pick a very calm day for this ride.
Hope they have a bathroom on board!
