We are considering renting at the Belize beach villas at Belizean Shores resort. DOes anyone have any knowledge of this condo? How is the location? Would we be able to walk to town for dinner, or will we need a golf cart?

Can we snorkle from their beach or do we have to go out on a boat?

Its nice, and like most of the resorts in the neighborhood one of the water taxi services pass by their dock about every hour and takes you to town quickly and cheap. The road for a golf cart is wet and muddy to the extent you might not make it.
My dive shop just put in some buoys at the reef near there so if you take their kayak or Hobie cat out to snorkel you can tie off in a sweet spot by the corals. snorkeling from the beach isn't that interesting anywhere on the island, its all a trip to the reef for that. lots of nice restaurants around but like i said the water taxis are the way to go with you coming and goings .
